The 6 Shooter is built around an Alnico V magnet, giving it slightly more attack and clarity than the lower-powered magnets often found in original late 50s humbuckers, while still retaining that open, dynamic character.
In keeping with traditional PAF construction, there is no dedicated neck or bridge version - you can use this pickup in both neck or bridge positions, just as Gibson did in the golden era. This ensures a beautifully balanced response when used as a pair, with excellent tone in either position.
Fully wax potted and fitted with a 4-core cable for optional coil-splitting or series/parallel wiring. Supplied with mounting ring, screws, springs, and wiring diagram.
