Please note that this pickguard will only fit a genuine original 1960s Gibson Firebird with mini-buckers. It will not fit the current Gibson version. Made from clear acrylic plastic material with shiny mirror material attached on the back of the pickguard.
The material is a three layer gold/clear/gold made from PVC measuring 2.28mm (0.090") thick and comes with a 45 degree bevelled edge.
This pickguard is made from gold mirror - a clear acrylic material measuring .118" / 2.99mm thick with a 45 degree bevelled edge. The gold reflective layer is attached to the underside of the acrylic, preventing it from getting scratched or dented once it is fitted to the instrument.
