Pot-Mate

Pot-Mate

Noise often occurs as volume or tone pots are turned. Often contact cleaner can't rectify this problem. To eliminate this noise, your signal must be grounded from the shaft of the pot. Pot-Mate will solve this problem.

Directions for use

1) Remove knob from potentiometer shaft
2) Apply a small amount of Pot Mate in the gap between the shaft and potentiometer casing. A toothpick can be used to apply Pot-Mate
3) Rotate shaft in both directions 2 or 3 times
4) Reinstall knob onto shaft

Notice:

-Pot-Mate is an electro-conductive grease.
-Do not apply to resistors or interior parts of pots
-Use sparingly to avoid leakage from pot onto guitar finish
-Keep away from fire, high temperature or direct sunlight
-Keep away from the reach of children
-Always tighten cap firmly after using

Avoid overheating when soldering to minimize chance of loose or weak connections.
