#4-40 imperial allen set screw, cup point stainless steel 304 height adjustment screw for USA guitar saddles, sold as a bag of 4. They will not fit into metric-threaded saddles typically found on guitars manufactured in Japan, Korea or China. Our AW.050 allen key can be purchased separately if required.ÂÂ
Choose from the following 4 lengths:
Extra Short - 1/4" or 6.35mm
Short - 5/16" or 7.95mm
Long - 3/8" or 9.52mm
Extra Long - 7/16" or 11.11mm
Fender tend to use four short 5/16" (7.95mm) for the outer saddles and eight long 3/8" (9.52 mm) adjustment screws so these will be the ones to select (1 bag of short and 2 bags of long). Some players, particularly ones that like to use a lot of right-hand dampening / muting of the strings, will rest their hand over the bridge saddles and find that the standard screws are too long and will hurt the side of their hand. For this, we sell an extra short screw so that it sits flush in the saddle. For certain bridges that need a little extra saddle height, then we also sell an extra long saddle screw.
